At present, AGV has two main steering modes: steering wheel and differential speed. The steering wheel steering is more precise and does not require a very troublesome algorithm. Differential steering requires a specific algorithm to achieve stable driving of vehicles. But the steering wheel can not do very low because of the limitation of mechanical structure, but the differential speed can achieve the whole vehicle height below 10CM.

So at present, the steering wheel is mainly used for AGV above 500KG, while the differential speed is less than AGV for 500KG.
