This method has high flexibility and does not depend on external auxiliary facilities. It only needs to rebuild some maps when the environment changes. It can meet the changing production needs and has the ability of flexible manufacturing.

From magnetic bar navigation, two-dimensional code navigation to laser SLAM, the AGV intelligent handling robot is facing the limitations of the surrounding environment step by step. Two-dimensional code navigation still needs external assistance. Laser SLAM does not need external facilities to locate, and can build maps to navigate in real time. This way brings great convenience to manufacturers. In the intelligent manufacturing mode of industrial 4.0, the flexibility of production line is very important, so the AGV with autonomous navigation will be the product closest to the market demand.
