LG Uplus, a South Korean company, recently announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Unmanned Solution, which specializes in autonomous robot research. The company will develop self-driving robots and logistics robots that can be used for 24-hour factory patrols. The logistics robot can operate at speeds of up to 30 kilometers per hour and can carry up to 150 kilograms of goods. The main aim of the collaboration is to apply robots to large facilities, such as power plants and large factories.
